Learning Technologies 2024.

This year marks the sixth consecutive year of Think Learning's participation in the exhibition, where we showcased our latest products to the attendees. Our branded popcorn bags went down incredibly well.

We would like to say a special thanks to our two client speakers, scroll down to read more details about them. Jon Wood (Training and Digital Learning Manager at NHS Property Services Ltd), and Paul Ferguson (OD Business Partner at West College Scotland) both delivered excellent presentations.

Meeting the ROI Challenge Head On! .

NHS Property Services Use Totara LMS to Measure the Impact of Their L&D Solutions

Jon Wood's Exhibition seminar was well-attended, and delivered a punchy solution to the LMS ROI challenge! He started with some helpful scene-setting about L&D teams' struggle to demonstrate the impact and value of learning due to workload, time pressures, and poor data quality. Followed by a reminder of the key reasons why it's critically important to measure impact.

Then he demonstrated the innovative, evidence-based ways that NHS Property Services are actually evaluating and measuring the effectiveness of their learning programmes. These included solutions that relate to all 4 Kirkpatrick levels, all designed to enhance and inform their education offering. The ROI toolkit represents a powerful combination of Totara platform features, Think Learning enhancements, and the vision and innovative work of Jon and his team.

LT24 Conference: Change Management .

Paul delivered a powerful presentation which centred around achieving successful organisational change by 'meeting employees where they are'.

He reflected on his personal experiences, showing how leaders, managers and employees step through emotional and psychological change processes at different rates, and included insightful use of models (see picture) to explain the arc of change management.

LT24 Conference: Change Management

Ciara Regan, Think Learning's Client Relationship Manager, attended Paul's conference session and said:

"It was great to have the opportunity to attend Paul's conference on Change Management and alongside Paul there were two other speakers discussing their approaches to change management. Each person had a slightly different approach, but it was really insightful to hear how Paul implements change head-on with well thought through models and a staged-implementation processes, whilst always keeping in mind the end user and ensuring that the relevant stakeholders are onboard and ready to support ahead of any change roll-out."

"You can really see his practice and passion come to life on West College Scotland's, Evolve LMS; changes are ongoing but Pauls iterative and supportive approach drives continuous improvement and it was brilliant to get a better understanding of the change management models and how I can utilise some of these theories within my role."
